40’x50’ Tradeshow System

 This project aims to create a flexible trade show system that complements how the healthcare company Medtronic approaches technology humanistically. A human heart beats twice every second, which creates a compelling parallel with Medtronic’s overarching theme, that Medtronic helps two people every second. My concept is creating an architectural heartbeat through a syncopated movement with a rhythmic lighting system.

The first layer includes semi–private rooms that invite people to socialize while showcasing a wide range of products. The second layer comprises light cubes to provide lighting and advertise the brand name. The third layer is where the heartbeat comes alive with the smaller light cubes that create a rhythm with different hues. The goal is to create an architectural pulse through a syncopated movement, to emphasize that Medtronic helps two people every second.
